Keep getting Disconnected

I can log in and play for a couple of minutes but after that I can't do anything but move.
I can't interact or transfer to different zones. Then a couple minutes later it goes black and says I disconnected.
I haven't played in roughly 2 months. When I was playing it ran smoothly. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.
    Help please.

For you, what has changed? ISP/modem/router/computer/programs installed?

Have you tried other toons in different zones?

That you are able to get into the game and interact for a short period of time then you are disconnected indicates a possible firewall/internet security interaction that is closing down the port EQ is using for that zone.

I would like you to post a few files. First one is dbg.txt after a disconnection. Open Lauchpad, click on Advanced Tools (lower left), open game directory. Click log folder and locate dbg.txt. Post the first 30 lines then the last 30/40 lines.

Next post your dxdiag. Windows R, type in dxdiag. Allow it to follow load then save file. Post from the top to just past the sound card entries.

Who is your ISP? Brand/model of modem and brand/model of router. Those are generally located on the label located on the back or bottom of the device. And have you unplugged those items for a few minutes recently?

    I
I have also been getting the same thing for the last week, usually when zoning, but not always, knocks off everyone in the house sometimes, always have to reset router to get back on. Nothing has changed for me , but started right after the denial of service attack last week.

Now, if you do not reset the router, is it 30 minutes before ya can get back on?

    Reboot router and modem.
Access router setup and disable secondary firewall (this does not disable NAT), depending on router age it may be known as SPI/stateful packet inspection.

    Brand/model of router and/or gateway

^ I'd follow Sark's suggestion and let us know if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, please submit in a support ticket so we can further assist you.
