This is pretty sad actually. I don't know if it's still there, but at one time there was a very large and very expensive, multi layer 'yacht' in a marina on San Francisco Bay, in the town of Alameda. The boat sat there, moored, for over a year. It was covered with sea salt, bird crap, and dirt, and the canvas cover was sun bleached. The boat was named, and I'm not even joking here, the "Dot Com." Apparently the guy who owned it got divorced and either his wife got ownership of the boat, or it was disputed property.

Nope this was just "dot com". A symbol of the early .com greed and waste, sitting there rotting, never being taken out. It had to be about a million dollar boat. We always laughed as we motored past it in our small, cheap boat.
