    Bottom Line Up Front
Due to the rapid unlock speed of the Selo TLP server, we will only experience Secrets of Faydwer as live content for 28 days. As history has shown this is insufficient time for a server to complete this expansion we request DBG act to increase the number of flags and loot dropped for all progression raids in this expansion. Ideally all raids will produce a minimum of 36 flags (up from the current minimum of 12) and loot drops following each encounter will be similarly increased in scale.

    Background

Secrets of Faydwer (SoF) unlocks on the Selo TLP server on February 5th, 2020. This expansion will only be live on Selo for 28 days before Seeds of Destruction (SoD) unlocks on March 4th, 2020.

On the Phinigel TLP server 8 guilds completed SoF in era taking an average of 34 days to do so. With the fastest guild completing the expansion 8 days after release, and the last guild completing it 59 days after launch.

    Issue
Due to our truncated timeline, it is likely that many of the guilds on Selo will be unable to complete the SoF expansion while it is live. Those that are able to complete the expansion will find that they do not have sufficient time to acquire gear and other upgrades, leaving the entire player-base of Selo unprepared for the launch of SoD.

    Resolution
We request that the following raid tasks / expeditions be increased to produce at least 36 flags per completion and have loot drops similarly scaled:

    Raid Task: Deepscar's Den
    Mob: Overseer Gakkor Deepscar
Item: Cryptic Timetable (Increase from 12 to 36 per kill)

    Raid Task: Big Bynn's Return
    Mob: Big Bynn
Item: Coded Log Sheet (Increase from 12 to 36 per kill)

    Raid Expedition: The Steamfont Factory
    Event: Power Station
    Mob: Chief Mechanic Clankwrench
Item: Notebook Page [Clankwrench] (Increase from 12 to 36 per kill)

    Event: Mining Behemoth
    Mob: The Mining Behemoth
Item: Notebook Page [Mining Behemoth] (Increase from 12 to 36 per kill)

    Event: Spindlecrank
    Mob: Spindlecrank
Item: Notebook Page [Spindlecrank] (Increase from 12 to 36 per kill)

    Raid Expedition: Meldrath's Manion
    Event: Meldrath the Malignant
Mob: Meldrath the Malignant (chest spawn)
Item: Oil Stained Crystal (Increase from 12 to 36 per kill)

This isn't a bug. The general pace of the server and the difficulty of later expansions will naturally make certain guilds to fall behind, whether it be sooner or later, even with the reduced lockouts that Selo's is privileged to -- that's just the life cycle of TLPs.

Reflecting on Phinigel, for SoF launch we had about 60 mains. Knowing what we know now, we probably would of done Kerafyrm day 5 instead of doing a second round of keys for day 8. We gave out probably close to 100+ oils from Meldrath to other guilds once we could reliably have our raiding force in Crystallos. Subsequently, Seeds, Underfoot, and House are similar, physical raid keys are a thing of the past in VoA onwards. I suggest the guilds on Selos do likewise - split raid as you can. Collaboration and joint raiding with other guilds may help you too.

This is replacing the dgcissuetracker, which regularly contained enhancement requests. Using the forum as intended but thank you for your concern.

This is not really an issue with SoF. People on Selo will need to rethink how they approach the game at a certain point. It will eventually be impossible to keep up and do content "in era". Should the game be resigned because of that? I feel like that is a lot of effort for dev's to change these things when the playerbase can deal with it themselves. You either force yourself to stay "in era" until you beat it, or you simply don't care that you moved onto another xpac, or got 5 extra levels before you cleared something.

I appreciate the free bumps folks however this thread is not a place to debate what should be posted on this sub forum. If you believe this thread should not be here by all means report the OP and our moderation team will move it if they agree.

I think the changes being advocated for SoF are similar in spirit to those which were made to UF previously. Others are free to disagree of course but ultimately the developers will decide.
