Is there a way to recover a lost BIC aug?

okay so i won't bore you with the details, but years ago i had the final BIC aug and then i had occasion to want to dig it out, and i can't find it. i've done the /outputfile thing and it appears to be nowhere, so let's assume that at some point i accidentally destroyed it or something.

so i went and talked to fezbin fizzles and he gave me BIC aug #11, then i tried talking to Beanalle Banoam and couldn't figure out a phrase to have him give me anything.

so before i go gathering people to do inktu'ta, i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to recover a higher level version of the aug, or if i'm going to just have to redo a couple of raids.

I don't know the answer to recovering any version of the aug through the quest process but one thing to keep in mind just in case it was overlooked:
If you're in the neighborhood zone and do /outputfile realestate filename it won't (for whatever reason) list any augments an item is augged with.
I just verified this to be sure it wasn't changed; An old set of raid hands I have stored in one of my houses has the Jonas hand aug in them but that aug isn't mentioned in my output file.

Or you could use the "my inventory" tool on magelo, although your last sync was 5/2. Type "suffering" in the search box and it will tell you if it is in your real estate. The other 2 possibilities is you tributed an item with the augment inside, in which case gone for good else check your recovery bin from any merchant, look for has lore aug.

BiC augs are Lore Grouped. if you were given the 11th, that's the only one your character has. Just 3 bits to recollect, have at it!

incidentally, Magelo Inventory doesn't track placed/stored items in Guild Halls, so things can get lost there if depending on that tool

Go to Achievements > Hero's Journey > Breakdown in Communication (Raids 65+) and see what is checked.

According to Alla's, if you have finished the aug:

I have done the aug a long time ago (I believe before achievements were added to the game) and all of them are checked in my achievements.

huh well, achievement only shows inktu'ta... wow, i could have sworn i had done the entire thing back in the day but apparently i'm insane.

The only hard part to BiC anymore is wrangling an Enchanter to get the Inktu`Ta part done with eating death touches, and it sounds like you might have that done already, so you should have your completed aug soon.

This thread reminds me to do the Inktu'Ta part for my BiC lol. I have not been to this zone since we raided there, how can an enchanter help there? I only remember the CR's and it wasnt pretty

they can help because they have a big enough rune to eat the DT, which is 100k.

went there tonight boxing a few toons, had the last cursecaller at 8% when i got killed, and then the instance bugged and wouldn't let me zone back in.

oh well, what's-his-face in txevu wasn't up so i couldn't have finished it tonight anyways.

You can go to abysmal sea and hail (name?) I dont have the name by hearth but he will give you back the last aug that he gave you. That is IF you have deleted it and do not have any version of the BiC aug any where on your character.

- The Breakdown in Communication gemstones are now on a lore group. Previously, you could have more than one, though wearing multiples would zero out their stats without giving a message as to why. If you find yourself in a situation where you don't have the highest BiC augment for which you are eligible, delete all your BiC augments and hail Fezbin Fizzles in Abysmal Sea to receive the correct replacement.
