Is shaman Recourse a HoT? Instant cast healing? Neither?

i'm not online to validate this, but I believe its' instant + further delayed instant heal (kinda like the promised lines). not a Heal over Time. i'll check when I get home from work tonight.

Shaman HOT is our renewal line (which has a cast time). Recourse is a group instant heal with 3 additional waves of healing.

Wouldn't that make it a HoT as well as an instant?

in a sense. but iirc each wave heals for a different amount.

think it benefits from instant heal aas/mods rather than hot aas/mods

I'm pretty sure I have used it with the recourse from Frostbitten Gift during big stupid AE fights.

according to lucy and my own experiences now, it's waves of instant heals rather than a HoT. each wave until the last has it's own 6s countdown recourse effect.

The spell should be classified by what mods effect the spell. It appears that it's affected by instant duration mods, but I could be wrong.

I am not a fan of twin cast heals - there is soo much additional healing on raids it's almost impossible to time it correctly.

twincast splash = win. anything else is just uncivilized

What level do shammans first get recourse? I play on phinigal a TLP server so am looking forward to this spell
