Note that certain items that can be looted from this and future crates are limited to specific, unlocked expansions. If you play on a server that has not unlocked one of these expansions, the expansion-associated item simply won’t be in the crate. Don’t worry, though, the mounts are not gated so you can still get those regardless of your server’s expansion status. Enjoy, and here’s hoping you get what you want!

The Suit of Moic's Guktan plate looks great in game - nice work! Now to snag Fogug's plate....

Im sorry, but can you be SLIGHTLY more fricken specific here? Because if Im paying the SAME MONEY as everyone else and yet the Unlisted, undocumented, unannounced mystery items ARENT in the crate at all...

Why are we paying full price then exactly?

You've NEVER had an issue putting items into /claim until they unlock..

Now all of a sudden its "nope, yer not getting them, but pay me full price anyways!"

    Just.. wow

At the BARE MINIMUM you should be UPFRONT and 100% CLEAR on what expansions need to be unlocked to get X items.

    This is *beyond* shady IMHO

It clarifies which items (it's all the teleport items for non-Classic areas) on the in-game text on the item, she just gave the generic form here rather than being elaborate.

And it's entirely because those locations wouldn't be accessible until those xpacs are open, resulting in a completely dead item before then.

Everything else is available according to the item text.

What the over/under on the odds of the illusion being mount usable. Hate to think they short cutted again on illusions not being able to use mounts.
  7. Ankarv Harbinger of Nightmares

    The illusion can not mount
  8. Knifen Augur

I mean how can every illusion not work on the magic carpet at least, if I want to ride my carpet in dino form I should be able too imo.
Veteran_BetaTester, Yinla and Silvena like this.
  9. Ankarv Harbinger of Nightmares

This one is basically the playable froglok model too, there isn't really a reason to not have it able to mount.
    Yinla likes this.
  10. Yinla Ye Ol' Dragon

Djinn should be able to ride carpet at least, there were mounted Djinns in TBL

Its pure short cutting and being lazy for the cash grabs at this point. Ill still end up getting them but meh, give yall two thumbs down for non mount usable illusions for bi peds.

As newly returned former EQ player who left the game circa PoP, I went to claim my 500 Station points, and the Guktan Hertitage crate popped up. Rolling the dice, I selected a crate which upon opening gave me some sort of pet, Man-eating Vines, that I have no idea how to use or even store for future use. What gives? How do I use the darn thing? I'm solo leveling up a rogue who is level 24 atm.

It is a familiar, not a pet. Pets are activly fighting, familiars are just there and won't fight and won't be attacked. Familiars can have some bonus stats for you but most are just for visual entertainment. You can store the familiar on your keyring (button in inventory) and cast it from there. It is also possible to combine the stats buff from one familiar with the display of another familiar.

You got this: Metamorph: Man-Eating Vine. If you right click the window then you will see where it says "reward preview" - click that and it gives you more info. For example it says it will change your pet to look like one (but you don't have a pet) or it will summon a familiar to follow you around.

Or you can sell to other players in the baz before you "adopt" it. On my server they are listed at 800,000 plat but I don't know if that is the final price anyone paid for one.

But if you would rather keep it for yourself then you click the box and it converts to Man-Eating Vine Familiar and you cannot sell. To use it you would then click again and it will bring up a vine that follows you around

If you have a key ring (bottom left corner of your character screen) that has room then you can pick it up and place it under the keyring "familiar" so you don't have to carry it around in your inventory.
