I don't have any I've seen players wearing it and I'm pissed. That is why I made this post.

This entire discussion is pretty ridiculous, with only assumptions being tossed around. Gold color armor existed in more choice other than defiant gear.

You want proof that you are correct?
It's easy.... Next time you suspect that "gold-colored" player is running around in defiant gear.

    Step 1: Target player
    Step 2: Type "/inspect"
Step 3: Observe for any items that say "Defiant"
    Step 4: Screenshot

yes you can find defiant on phinny, this isn't new

who cares though, I don't see how this affects other players, just ignore it if you don't like defiant

it's not like it's any different from someone buying krono and then going out to buy raid gear

Can confirm this bug exists and is live on phinigel right now. Incoming massive rollback and/or suspensions/bans for those abusing a blatant exploit. There's ppl selling defiant gear in general chat as I type this.

LOL. This has much more serious ramifications than defiant armor. You do realize people are claiming mounts with Sana mount buff? Augments with way out of era procs? All LoN claims? Potion packs? Kiss of Erollisi Marr? the list goes on. This server is gg'd without a rollback, defiant alone at 60 is almost time gear. What do you think happens if you hold the clickables for level 65? >.>

    Mount Blessing Sana None
Increase Current Mana by 20 per tick
    Increase Endurance Pool by 1400
    Increase Mana Pool by 1400
Add Effect: Mount Blessing Sana Fortitude
    AC_2 (650)

If they were smart, they would delete the gear and use Tokens of Reclaimation, or leave it in parcels incase of rollbacks or delete.
  7. Tacc Journeyman

Psh who cares. I don't see how this affects other players. Just ignore it if you don't like a mount buff that gives more mana regen than KEI and stacks with KEI and gives 1400 mana. That totally won't trivialize the crap out of the next 3+ expansions. No big deal.

    /sarcasm off

650AC? There's literally hundreds of claimable items that put you at a disadvantage vs others.
  9. Strawberry Augur

You're being way too dramatic. Kiss of Erollisi could be gotten on other TLP.

Defiant gear has been available on other TLP before and it didn't cause any problems. And the quantities of defiant gear on phinni are minuscule.

And no, defiant is nowhere near as good as Potime.

I don't know what your problem is with a potion pack either, omgawd, someone might get 25% more XP on a server that currently has the worst XP in EQ, the horror!

Almost time. and take note of how much heroic stats (and read patch notes for what heroic stats actually do now) is on defiant gear. The point is that it trivializes content at the very least until end-PoP.

This is absolutely 100% gamebreaking and you're out of your mind if you think it's not. It's now a widespread common knowledge exploit. Ball is in DBG's court to fix this. I personally would support permabans for everyone that's using any of this crap on Phinny but I know how unlikely that is. At the VERY LEAST all claimable items need to be removed from the server and /claim disabled until they fix the loophole.

People kept out of era loot from the wrong variants expedition mobs (Innoruuk, Aged stuff from VP that was generated by CS) -- and CS/Devs don't do anything about it. Even though they said if people were found to have it, it would be removed.

DBG is likely going to take the path of least resistance to them - do nothing.

I've posted a new thread about Daybreak's response to it, as it's going to get worse and worse.

Time for holly to awaken and make another perma ban for all accounts post!
  14. Myth Elder

they didnt take away the items people got from VP 2.0, they arent going to take away these items...they will simply remove the items from claim and act like it didnt happen
  15. Tudadar Augur

There a huge difference between a raid doing harder content and keeping items and people using a exploit to cheat the system. Im going to be EXTREMELY disappointed if they do what they did back on LJ and ask people to delete the items lol.
  16. Glowerss Augur

Actually the VP 2.0 gear was given to the players by a GM mistakenly instead of VP 1.0 loot.

The GMs/CS were then too lazy to go back and fix the problem.

People also got to keep their Inny 2.0 loot despite the fact it was 135hp/mana gear in Kunark Era.

I for one will be making a guild announcement that any out of era item is NOT to be used or claimed. I will not welcome this exploit in our guild and I sincerely hope that the other fine guild leadership on this server do the same. If DBG does nothing (I think they will) then we can at least do our due diligence and control it on our ends. Out of all of us here who oppose im sure we can enjoy these xpacs in a legit manner by not allowing this crap to be used.

Thank you very much exploit morons.
