In-Game Calendar Has Nov. 11 as Patch Day

Since I believe the office is closed for Veteran's Day and I have seen no announcement, it seems that today is not a patch day.

It would be great if someone at Darkpaw can put in the correct date for the Monthly Game Update into the calendar when they are back on Thursday.

They have said on Discord that it is a typo and the patch isn't until the 18th.

It does. They have a flag that will only show events while they are running, like seasonal, but the data takes a server down to get into the database in the first place.

Bah, Allakhazam has November 11th as go live date for Velious on Aradune/Rizlina too. I was all set to go.

We need information placed in the Daybreak forum here, not Discord. It is not correct to expect players to check:

as well as the forums to find out information.

They need to pick one Official place for official information. Generally, that is the forums here. The other option would be the main everquest.com website.https://www.everquest.com/home/news

Since the Test server is still down following yesterday's patch, it probably doesn't matter; an attempt to patch Live today wouldn't be working until the 18th anyway.

Can't agree with this enough. The company has official forums, that's place #1 where the info should be posted.

I'd even accept #2 or #3, but seriously, how do you justify NEVER posting it there.
