When I click off the familiar buff, the stat buff stays. But when I add the familiar buff to the list of blocked buffs, the stat buff gets blocked as well. I do not believe this used to be the case.
Go to your familiar key ring and check auto leave. It might be a bug but there's only so many buffs you can block. This way is probably better.
Split the spell group for 'Summon Improved Familiar I / II' from all ranks of 'Improved Familiar', so it can be separately buff-blocked, for the March patch.
