I wish classic models could sit on mounts

It would be nice to see some "new" models that aren't old enough to drink alcohol or enlist.

Then again, I never really liked the luclin models. The female humans/elves looked like they had rickets and were smuggling basketballs under their robes.

Not sure why, but to me they always lacked the charm of the older models.

This is why my ogres are set for old models!

Most are horrible but the human and wood elf females are better ones. But their run and idle animations are bad. Baldur's Gate 3 has nice models that would also fit to EQ. Havn't seen their animations tho.

Maybe something could be done with the lighting, like removing it ? It is hardly possible to make blond hair and other hair color visible or looking good, which is why I turned blond hair into white. The old models do not get affected by lighting which is great.

I vote ttobey change all the models animations!

I wish new expansion Illusions could ride new expansion mounts. I mean how does this not happen?

Which illusions?

Let's start with the most recent, NOS. I click the Shik'Nar Saddle but then I cannot use the illusion Visage of the Grimling.

or TBL, Efreeti Carpet / Carpet of Stratos, I cannot click Jann's Veil and ride the carpet in that Illusion (yeah, I can get the stat buff, but I can't use the illusion to ride the carpet.)

NPC's never get a sit animation. I could probably do that going forward though. It might take some coding to get them to sit, but I will look into that.

I'm fine without having them sit, (IE original Model Ogre stands and I'm happy)

it was just depressing to spend $140 bucks to get a mount and illusion and they do not work together. Thanks for even considering it moving forward .

I just ran through my illusion keyring (48 of them). Nothing will mount, except Amulet of Necropotence, Bone mask of the ancient iksar, crown of deceit, fabled circlet of disguise, guise of the deceiver... I was surprised Baron Yosig's Skeleton doesn't, since AON does.

Yeah I haven't put a sit on an illusion, but I just checked with how hard would be to implement. Not hard on my end, but I can't speak for coders, so we'll see.

It is problematic that PCs with NPC illusions cannot use mounts. It should be possble to put them all onto flat mounts like the Ornate Flying Carpet and the Gnomish Hovering Transport, without having to create sit animations, which would mean that such illusions could be limited to compatible mounts. More illusion compatible mounts could be created for the marketplace like a cloud which could just receive the animated graphics from the Ball of Fluffy Cotton nimbus.

Bixie's can sit. You can sit with Bixie illusion and your pet can sit as a Bixie, unless you mean sit on a mount.

Human custom velious helmets were the best. Change my mind!

Illusions being able to use mounts would be a huge quality of life improvement.

Illusions not using up our main buff slots would also be amazing if possible So many illusions, but can never use them because there's never room for the buff

/Mourn Ogre Tiki Helm

A question of priorities. How would you deactivate them without a buff icon ? Would you prefer them to go into the aura window ? Even on low level characters with very limited buffs slots I never had a problem with illusions. An additional buff slot could be added from lvl 1 on, but how long would it take until someone else would mourn the buff slots limitation ?

Some are weird and. some are great but they all are iconic. Would be nice to have ornaments for them. My favourites are wood elf male and dorf female.

The first priority needs to be on Djinn (from TBL) being able to ride carpets/Gnomish Hovering Transport.

The second could be on fixing skeletons that are using carpets/gnomish hovering transports/and whirlicopters. They can use them, but they are permanently crouched and there's a constant sound.
