How well will a team of necros function together?

I am thinking of using up to 3 necros I have across different accounts to mess around with. I have 2 115 necros and one 110 necro. I have to check but I think they have at least mid 20s EM ears and the 115s will be in COV t3 gear while the 110 will be in snowbound.

What heroic stats should necros focus on these days? I haven't played any in years other than to level them up. AAs will be 25k-30k range for all 3 for now as I grind that and progression through the expansions up to COV.

just curious why your 110 necro is in snowbound and not snowsquall ? other than it being easier to get .. I figure if you have 2 115 necro's getting T1 gear for your 110 shouldn't be too difficult ..

Tldr: it does well when you're fighting multiples and try harding with multidotting. Vs melee box which are refreshing instant cast abilities otw to the next group. You'll need a lot of healing for the tank and mana for the necros, so a pal/brd/clr/nec/nec/nec team is probably optimal

Yeah, I can expand on my experiences if it's helpful, but that particular bit is specific to a 6 box team in a mob grinding scenario.

I feel like 3 necros could do alright. DoT stacking is very powerful when it comes to killing several mobs at a time, and you'd be able to burn nameds pretty easily. Some missions might be doable as well, I think a lot of it would come down to whether the boss mob is raid flagged and ignores pet tanking or not.

Well the 110 is on a ftp account so he's restricted to ftp gear on Live servers. I think he has old raid gear on Test and will have COV T3 at 115.

I have a 115 of every class except a paladin and enchanter so I can make up whatever group I want within that set up without having to add more to it. I will probably focus on Test more than a Live server so gear isn't an issue and J5 mercs are available.

iirc CoV T1 snowsqual is Non prestige .. so a F2P account can wear it ..

One well played, well geared & well AA'd necro will out dps your alt tab box team. I would use complimentary classes like mage (toys/nukes) and a BL (slow & buffs) over 2 more necros (my 1.45 cents)

And if it's not alt tabbed? Key broadcasting is allowed, so that 1 well geared and well AA'd necro is now 3 well geared and well AA'd necros all doing the exact same things simultaneously.

Still pick the mage and bst?

15 years ago that would have been awesome. I've had my necro for 20 years +/- a year and the decline of the class is disappointing. And Hsta is what you're lookin for.

Literally the #1 broken class in a raiding scenario; the top DPS by far on mobs that live longer than 30 seconds. If you aren't sleeping through a Top 10 parse then it's time to play a different class.
