How to place a Modest Guild Hall? 8 member guild

So I bought a Modest Guild Hall package but I can't figure out how to place it.

I found a housing zone with an empty guild hall plot, navigated to guild hall plot and with Modest Guild Hall on my cursor placed it on the plot. The screen went red and I could move the guild hall outline around with mouse but as soon as I clicked trying to put it down I got the following message:

"You can not do that because you do not have Add House Access."

At first I thought it was because I had selected a housing zone owned by a specific guild, then I went to a different housing zone which had no guilds at all and still got the message.

So do I have to buy a guild plot as well? If so how do I do that?

I am a guild leader with all permissions checked in Alt-G Access tab. However I only have 8 members in the guild, do I have to have 10+?

Did you buy a guild writ of the sunrise? as far as i know, you can only place your guild hall within your own guilds village.

You need to have a guild with 10 members in order to place a guild hall down.

I was able to place a guild hall with no trouble, and it's just me.

Oh, nevermind. 20 alts total. But only 3 accounts.

I have not bought a guild writ, because why would there be 4 guild plots in each housing zone? I know there were some housing instances with all 4 guild plots full with 4 different guilds.

I'll have to guild some alts and see if 10 person limit is really what is causing the trouble.

I'm assuming you purchased the guild plot as the starting point....

From there, you have to have the correct access set up to place the guild hall.

I don't know what the defaults are, but if you stand on the plot and type Shift M, then go to the access tab, compare your rank in the guild with the access rights when you hit the guild members toggle. If you're not of a rank that falls into the first couple columns, you might need to have a chat with the guild leader?

Buy any available guild plot, have 10 members in guild (maintain 10 forever) place the guild hall, and put 5000 plat or so into escrow so you don't have to check back anytime soon.

You have to log a toon in at least once a week as far as I know/remember due to the changes they just made to the housing evections.

Recent changes to eviction is as I understand it that as long as there is escrow to draw down there will be no eviction, once there is no payments, then log ins will be considered and housing guild halls require the 10 members be maintained escrow or not.

I hope it isn't a once/week requirement. That kinda F's up any type of vacation/trip etc....
(Sorry baby girl, we can't go to Disney... I'll lose my guild hall!)

No it's just once a month for any toon in your guild.

I know that escrow doesn't count. I paid up my escrow for 2 years, but got evicted because I didn't log into the plot for a couple of months.

Game Update Notes: September 17, 2014
    - Changed housing plot eviction so that plot owners will only be evicted 90 days after escrow expires. Any player is able to contribute to escrow to avoid this. Guild plots will still evict earlier if the required membership requirements are not met.

Update: Added two more members to my guild and was able to buy a guild plot and place a Modest Guild Hall.

    Two questions:
Now, how do I add plat to escrow so I do not have to worry about upkeep for a while?
EDIT: Added 4 years to escrow through Real Estate Management Screen

    So just one question:
What is the quickest way to get from a Modest Guild Hall back to Guild Lobby?

Surely, I am not meant to zone out to Sunrise Hills, find the portal stone then zone back into Guild Lobby and then run out to Magus.
EDIT2: I see Sebbina already answered that there is a Shabby Lobby Door to be bought and placed for GL exit here: https://forums.station.sony.com/eq/...anchors-how-do-they-work.214950/#post-3146638

2nd question: Is there a parcel delivery NPC to place in Modest Guild Hall? Nice to see a personal Tribute NPC, but parcels would be nice.

Not sure who has it but Shabby Lobby Door will get you back to the Guild Lobby, but you have to right click and select open door to Lobby to zone.

I purchased a guild writ of Sunrise and right clicked on it causing the zone to only be for my guild. It turns out my guild hall can go into property inside my guild village II and not into the village named after my guild. Why is that?

It is possible for a guild to have more than one neighborhood generated by a writ of the sunrise, but a guild can never have more than one placed Guild Hall. I know on Povar my guild only has one neighborhood, but because of a bug years ago it's actually named my guild village II - do you actually have one or two guild villages and is there a guild hall already placed in the other one?
