Hi, Has anyone actually moved their spell list between computers? I recently installed EQ on a different computer but I'm not having any luck getting my saved spell lists on the computer. I copied all the files over from the userdata folder and that took care of the hot bars, is there another set of files I need to pull from somewhere else in the game directory? Thanks!
Okay, figured it out. There are more configuration files in the game's parent game directory! Not sure which did the trick.
I found a file named CharacterName_ServerName. In it I had a section that looks like this: SpellLoadout1.inuse=1 SpellLoadout1.name=Attack Set SpellLoadout1.slot1=207 SpellLoadout1.slot2=2585 SpellLoadout1.slot3=55471 SpellLoadout1.slot4=58907 SpellLoadout1.slot5=55489 SpellLoadout1.slot6=58818 SpellLoadout1.slot7=55363 SpellLoadout1.slot8=55321 SpellLoadout2.inuse=1 SpellLoadout3.inuse=1 SpellLoadout4.inuse=1 SpellLoadout5.inuse=1 SpellLoadout6.inuse=1 SpellLoadout7.inuse=1 SpellLoadout8.inuse=1 SpellLoadout9.inuse=1 SpellLoadout10.inuse=1 With other sections below it. I would think that if you were to copy and replace this section in another characters similar file that would work. Make a backup first of course. On the other hand if you copy a layout in game doesn't it kind of do the same thing? I don't remember to be honest.
