So I don't remember how weapon damage is actually calculated, it is apparently different from 10+ years ago, and any site I check gives me a slightly different answer. My understanding is ((Dmg * 2) + Dmg Bonus) / Delay for Main hand and just (Dmg * 2) / Delay for Offhand. Correct? If correct, does that make Burning Rapier one of the best available Main hand weapons in the game for Classic with its 28 Dmg Bonus? Just want to be sure before I spend a million years in Blackburrow only to find out my understanding is flawed. I have a Gloomwater Harpoon already, which the p99 Guide claims is (one of) the best and doesn't even mention the Burning Rapier.
Just go by ratio. Burning rapier is solid if you want to put in the effort and can't get a raid weapon.
