Are we by chance going to get XP/Spawns/Faction boost this weekend?

Based on the history of having this in the past and the history of last minute announcements of these things I would say it is safe to say it is going to happen.

last year it was just EXP for Labor day

I've spent the last two months preparing to utilize the bonus, so I hope they don't decide not to do it this year. I don't typically take off work in anticipation of them, but this time I did.

When was the last time they didn't do a bonus over Labor Day?

I wasn't meaning to come across as too serious. I've just never planned around it before.

They keep announcing these things at the last minute or after they start and people keep asking if they are going to do it because there is no announcement. It can be hard to know why someone is asking the question.

How else do you prepare? Do you stock up on cheetos & mountain dew? Do you exercise your mouse hand to insure you won't cramp up? Do you stress test your rig & internet connection to insure optimal performance for that said time? Inquiring minds want to know!

I coordinate with friends and develop a light agenda in the week prior. If it doesn’t happen, ohh well, still gonna have a good time with pals. =)

Because we want to let them know that we would greatly appreciate a change. It wouldn't take much for them to set the plan and communicate it, and it's not unreasonable for us to request such.

There's a saying, "you sound like a broken record". Sometimes the record is fine and it would only take a second to clean it, but for whatever reason people just don't.

And the people that make these announcements understand this and likely try to get this information released sooner. However they are not able to release this information until they get permission to do so. It is unlikely that the people who are in charge of deciding when the information can be released and an announcement made read these forums.

There is no personal attack going on here. I think the inner workings are irrelevant when it comes to the concern itself: that these bonuses are usually announced at the very last moment. Why that may be is a curiosity, but the answer doesn't invalidate the concern

They have been mostly consistent timing wise, but confirmation would be nice. They even have an in-game calendar system

I am not sure what you are getting at here but the people who make the announcements know that we want to get this information sooner. However they are limited in when they can released it based on instructions from people above them who for whatever reason don't want to release it until last minute. It doesn't matter how many different threads we get about this each time a bonus is coming up as the people making the post already know we want it as early as possible. I don't think the people you need to convince are reading these forums let alone the many threads asking for news on the bonus each holiday.

I'm not sure what your point is here. Feedback is feedback. It doesn't make sense to expect people to not give it, nor does it make sense to assume everyone knows the history of prior feedback.

Many requested changes would never happen if people asked once then dropped it.

My point is how many threads do we need asking if there is going to be some sort of bonus every holiday when we know that it will be happening and they want to release it last minute for some reason. The people making the announcements also know that we want this information as early as possible but they need to get permission to make one and making many posts for each expected bonus period isn't going to get them permission to make an announcement sooner.

Ahh yes, I remember. 100% bonus to rare spawn timers. Terrible way to word things.
