Hey, that's not nice! (a Player Studio question)

    No fair! The sample trident to base 3D models on is made up of more than 500 triangles, whereas we're asked to provide models under 400 polygons!

    Anyway, silliness aside, I suppose I may just be getting ahead of myself in asking, but does that suggested polygon limit call for breaking a model down into triangles, or is that based on square-shapes, giving us something closer to a potential 800-polygon limit in actuality?

    I have version of both and breaking them down into triangles in my experience doesnt up the poly count too much, but there are no detail if we can go over 400 poly. Most of my items are well below that once the design is complete. (Using texture maps to provide the detail)

    I will see how they function once I am able to start submitting and what the artist tell me what I need to correct. :)
