Why is Hero's Forge per character and not account-wide? Several times, I've contemplated purchasing it but always stop myself because it's just per character. Anyone else feel the same?
Though I have purchased it on a couple of characters, I only do so when it goes on sale. I agree it's a little bit too expensive for a "per character" option.
Hero's Forge is just a look thing. Some players wouldn't be interested paying for it. Thus, it's sold as an optional piece of an expansion. So, you see, an expansion is $40, and Hero's Forge is just $120 for 10 characters on the same account. Perfectly reasonable!
I bought it on my main, I refuse to buy it for any other character, not even with the free SC. I would buy it if it was account-wide.
I agree there should be an account wide option at a higher price. I've never had an issue buying it per character. But, I box a couple characters, and I don't really have same account alts - so the account wide thing isn't something that I even consider when deciding whether or not to purchase it.
