Heroic Purchase Marketplace

This may be an all-time silly question, but here goes:

If I purchase the Heroic Upgrade from the Marketplace/Services menu, is the character entering marketplace immediately upgraded or is a token purchased which can be used later to upgrade the character?

Secondly, if it is a token, can it be traded to other characters on account?

In other words, I want to make use of the discount, but I'm not ready to move characters to 85.

When you purchase the Service from the Marketplace, it flags that account with a Heroic Character. From the character select it will say you have 1 Heroic Character available. You can create a new character and make him 85, or select an existing character to upgrade.

If at some point you delete the Heroic Character, new or old, the ability to use the Heroic Character upgrade will become available again.

Unless someone chimes in and knows a way, I don't believe it's possible to transfer the Heroic Account flag to another account.

Simple answer, once purchased it flags the account for a heroic character. You do not have to complete the process and actually upgrade until your ready to. It is restricted to that account but to any server/character slot that you want to apply it to, with the same restrictions that hc's must be able to be used on that server.

Thank you Kally and Derd. That answered the question and I went ahead with the marketplace purchases. So, I now have 5 heroic upgrades between two accounts.

Which begs the question of how to use them when I have 7 characters between 72 and 77 on Rathe.

So the question I have for you is: Which accounts are your 72 to 77 toons on. Do you have one account with a HC that you can use to box with your other account? If so, what HC class is available, and which HC makes the best sense to play along with your lower level account(s)?

Most classes can box with any other class and do fairly well as long as you are not trying to do raid level access yet, and the results will mostly be based on your ability to juggle two (or more) avatars at one time.

Account 1: 73 Cleric, 76 Paladin, 77 Monk, 75 Bard.
Account 2: 76 Ranger, 73 Rogue, 69 Magician, 62 Shaman

I can two-box if I use the Bard or the Cleric. Anything else involves too many button mashes for my limited abilities.
