Hi guys, I'm looking for a breakdown of running a ranger as a melee DPS in TBL content, I've ran my ranger as ranged for a long time now, and I'm finding my melee DPS somewhat lacking, more due to my lack of knowledge of what I should be doing with spell/aa for melee as opposed to ranged which I'm good at.
It's pretty much like bowing just make sure you hit imbued and or empowered blades while you have max haste from gotf or ggotf. Melee isnt all that great it gets better with shaman procs but I wouldn't say as good as bow still.
You will also benefit from getting back into the habit of cycling your 2.0 click. We're all bad at it now, since EoK became the Bow is king era of EQ.
I still click it with bow at start of fights if no kill shot but like Fin said if you click it under burns you lose more dps than it adds
