before i saw this reply, i got a successful installation with a windows update, a complete removal of avast and more reboots than i care to count. i also used the standalone installer. no other combinations (and there were many) worked. i have no idea why avast decided out of the blue to not cooperate. or maybe that wasn't the issue. i don't know. i can parse again and i am happy. thank you.
Well, the standalone .exe is not an installer, so that's not really a "fix." That said, the upcoming 1.5.2.7 will have a new way to check for updates so that anyone who doesn't use the installer with automatic updater will still know when there is a new version. You will just have to download it manually.

The pet is still linked there. Have you tried unlinking the pet and seeing if it still happens, like I suggested?
Unlinking pets then makes the list read poorly for at least seven classes, and robs that 30kdps joker in a minor way as well. Obviously I'm not fooled by GamParse not reporting correctly, but it sure would be nice to have it be correct on those things it goes out of its way to report. Alternately, is there a motivating reason swarmpets should break that algorithm (for just some classes, apparently? not everyone swarm-petting get set to rogue), that I should value and accept as worthy of working around?
I took the request to unlink to be a troubleshooting step to see if that's the reason for the misidentification. Not as the solution. To solve a problem, you need to know what and where the problem is.
Should I be able to see what other people are casting using gamparse? As all I see when looking at other people's spells/discs is a whole load of unknown spells. If someone can tell me how to fix that I'd be interested.
There is an update to 1.5.2.14. Note that you may need to manually reinstall it if the updater doesn't work. This is due to the change over from HTTP to HTTPS on EQResource. If you are not running the latest version of Windows 10, you may need to take additional steps: Install .NET 4.7.1 (included in the installer) and restart. Run Setup.exe again. If this fails: Press Windows Key + R to open the Run Box Type or Copy+Paste inetcpl.cpl into the box, then click OK. This will open the Internet Properties Window. In the Advanced Tab of Internet Properties, scroll until you see "Use TLS 1.2" - Make sure this is Check Marked, then hit Apply. Run Setup.exe again If you still have trouble after doing the above, post in this thread and let me know.
I just updated the the newest version, 1.5.2.16 and now am getting a ton of invalid damage detected messages. Here is where the first message starts. There a bunch after this one. None of that is causing a problem for me, JacLuc. If you reopen it and reparse the file, does it give you the same errors?
You can break out each person's contribution. So, you're parsing everyone, but you can just look at the one's you care about.
