I get this ERROR Unable to download SocketError:Host Not Found (11001) - http://eq.patch.daybreakgames.com/patch/sha/eq/eq.sha.zs/b0/f14/9993f53a4f7c75ddf33795ff8f7 I've flushed DNS, reinstalled game, and disabled antivirus and firewall but it still won't get past that
Thank you for listing what you have done - it help with suggestions Its going to be an error with your connection - on your side or theirs ? - not sure since there was an issue on DBG side lst year with this error - other than that most troubleshooting says to go to control panel->network and internet->internet options->connections tab->lan settings-> uncheck use proxy server for your LAN Are you playing in US or on TLP? Can you get in with bypassing the patcher?
I went to check proxy settings and noticed that instead of DHCP I was see to use a couple of DSN servers with addresses that I didn't recognize. Changed to DHCP and everything began working perfectly.... I have no idea when that may have been change or even if I was the one who did it. Add that to one of the possible solutions
