People always are posting about being close to the year mark and not getting vet rewards or hanging and not gaining any days. This just happened today on an alt so though I would post so others can see how it is not set to exact time. Since I was able to capture this the day it occurred it may help others to understand the math (?) I log into this alt every day. Today got a notice that I gained the ability of "Blessing of the devoted" at a cost of 0 ability points. I then typed /played and it shows this characters age as 18 years but entitled time just hit 14 years 9 days. So it did not happen at 14 years but it happened 9 days after. And it is not based on my character's age. Hope this helps understand the lag/difference in vet reward time.
What i really want is a command to /printVetReward or something so I can see how many I have left to use before I decide to use them on an alt or something. /printVetRew returns You have 14 of 18 Veteran claims remaining.
