Fixed Full Screen / Screen Resolution Issues

Idk what happened but I can not go full screen anymore without the screen res being HUGE~!!! cannot set it higher than 800x640???? even in windowed the resolution is screwed up

Same -this is the main reason I didnt play at all for over 2 years -cause i couldnt log into full screen. And now its happened again !

had same issue, guess I will go do other stuff until they fix it. although trying to log in probably messed up all settings anyway.

All i had to do to fix it was hit options copy layout, select all three check marks and find my toon name with windowed next to it. Fixed it all but bag layout and tell windows

I'm sure that would fix it ... but ... why should we fix what we didn't break? And getting to where the screen isn't so HUGE I can read it from across the house isn't an option.

Seems if you switch to fullscreen mode only 4 video modes are offered - none suitable.If you go windowed mode you get a long list of modes. So is it so impossible to let us use full screen with the full list of video modes ?!!!

Windowed mode is the way.

That doesnt fix fullscreen mode nor does it give you control of reso or refresh.

I am also having the same issue. I can't fix it with the /copyl or options menu. I had to log out and try repatching.

Same here, going to have to set everything up in window mode just to play until this is fixed.

So can we get a comment from devs - are we now expected to play in windowed mode ?

new patch completely broke the game for me...it is forcing me to play in 800x600 as soon as it gets to server select, and then hits me with a failed reset device error and crashes the game to desktop.

previously able to edit the eqclient.ini file and manually input a 1920x1080 resolution to fix this issue, but now when you attempt this, it just reverts back to 800x600 the moment you launch the game.

Yeah...I can't even restart the game cause the sever select screen is so borked i cannot see the servers

Same, Reso in Full Screen Mode blown to hell

Limited to lower resolutions on full screen.
Also alt tabbing now is kinda borked again when it was fine before...
