Fresh level 60!

So I just got to level 60 for my first time. I’ve never been max level in era!

Anywho, i play chant/cleric box team and as these are my first characters on Teek, I’m broke as hell. Can someone recommend me a good place to camp or a place to group or whatever is the best way to make some cash?

I made some decent money in chardok while leveling but really never got a group deeper than bank or kennels. As well, losing rolls is painful lol. I’d like to be able to farm with just my team but if grouping is still the best way to make money, I’m ok with that since it’s super easy to form a group as a chant/cleric

Grats. Farming plat is annoying but can be easy. Are you good at charming? If so, head to sebilis with your duo and go to disco. Charm the illis wizard in disco one and use him to destroy disco. I watched an enchanter once solo all of disco plus up the hall before repops. Just be quick on the heals because a hasted, buffed, and weaponed illis wizard is pretty stout.

I suggest this because sebilis has some of the best cash drops in the game. Lots of gems that you can sell plus spells and the occasional bracer or helmet or such.

Sell a krono and you won't have plat issues ever again, at least for any npc bought items...

I’m pretty good at charming. Not the best and I’m squishy because my gear sucks. But i learned from a lot of chanters while leveling…

The biggest issue here is I don’t know seb at all hah. I’ve been there once before was at the disco camp though


Is seb as crowded as chardok?

Seb is crowded and there will be a pick or two of people plvling, but with 5-10 picks, who cares?

Now you can sit on your but and wait for Luclin like the rest of us LOL

What pet would you charm to work your way toward wizard? Or are wizards available on the way?

I would just charm my way down killing stuff. Use whatever is available. The reason you want the illis wizard in Disco one is that is level 51-53 and tears up other mobs that are lower level. Also, there is only the one illis wizard so when you charm it, you won't have others repopping on you. Give it a weapon, haste it, buff it, and tear through all of disco. It will take some practice, and named mobs will take more effort, but with practice you should be able to clear the entire area.

If you want to go all out, and make sure you kill your pet at the end to get the items back, you can even get a cheap dagger like the flint dagger that procs a 625pt DD. Just be ready because when he breaks he will be on you with it, but with a cleric backup, you should be fine.

I invis’d straight to him last night, charmed him, and wrecked everything. No named spawn in the 2 hours i was farming which sucks but this was very effective and i didn’t even have any gear to give him

Congrats. Some mobs randomly see invis though so be aware.

Look up Dithgar's Defender quest. Buy all 6 items for relatively low PP. Usually can get all 6 for under 2k. Do the quest, and sell the shield for 1 krono or current Teek Krono price which is about 38-40k right now.

Go farm Goblin skins, nodding blue lily, deepwater inks.

I dont know if you are on Teek, but if you are looking to make just pure Plat, I HIGHLY recommend over world Plane of Hate!

Went here last week with my 60 Paladin / 60 Necro box cause I was bored and was wondering if maybe I can get some Planar gear for a new Rogue / Shaman box alts, and while the gear drops were nice, I was very pleasantly surprised on how much better this zone was at making pure plat!

Its extremely common to get anywhere from 10 - 30 plat dropped per mob, which is a very nice bonus, but the real plat came from the very, VERY, common high end gems and jewelry. I would say, on average, 1 out of every 2 mobs will drop either Blue Diamond, Jacinith, Black Sapphire, Diamond, Fire Ruby, etc, or jewelry such as Sapphire Necklace, Ruby Crown, Emerald Ring, etc.

Your bags will fill up FAST with these gems, and each one of these gems / jewelry sells to a vendor at minimum for 115pp or more (Blue Diamonds are the best at 230pp+ apiece).

A single 3-4 hour session of just running around grabbing PoH mobs will fill up me and my box's bags. Between the gems / jewelry, as well as the coin drops themselves, I can make anywhere between 4kpp - 5kpp in that 3-4 hour session.

I make so much plat doing this, that the 400-500pp price tag for the port up is very well worth it.

P.S. Because of the many trips up to PoH, I ended up getting the same wizard in CL over and over that now he has become my very own personal PoH Uber, LOL.
