More info: 2 patches ago y’all accidentally ruined an end raid fight in tss Beltron. Before it was ruined event was ruined you would tank Beltron and during the fight he would “debuff” you and said debuff would make it do 1 damage to him every time you hit him. While trying to kill Beltron he spawns 4 mobs randomly that you need to kill, also Would need 4 toons to go on pressure plates to cancel additional adds from spawning. Now after one of the recent patches it made Beltron cast Avatar snare, which interferes getting the debuff to damage him. Beltron event is not broke. Beltron is one of the two Capstone events for TSS and drops the best tank loot. It should be hard. My guild has no issues with the event. Have your 4 casters stand by the pressure plates for when they need to be activated. Even with a snare and Shaman and Clerics being the most likely to get hit with the Proc Buff, I have seen shaman in Rabid Bear do 20-25 procs and clerics do nearly as much with Divine Avatar
As the linked post shows, the event was "broken" in the August patch so that he only casts the debuff that allows him to be damaged half as often. While it's still completable, it takes at least twice as long because of this change. The linked thread even shows that the bug is confirmed, so I'm not sure why you're arguing that it's not broken.
The link posted to the original thread is a Bug Thread stating Beltron is casting Avatar Snare. It was Confirmed that Beltron is indeed casting Avatar Snare.
Yes the post confirmed he is casting avatar snare, which he never casted since the expansion was released. It only started casting that after a recent patch. It’s the fact it messes with the debuff to do damage to him and makes the event longer and more difficult now adding that without planning it. I am certain doing that they didn’t plan on him at times not casting his dmg debuff to hurt him for over 10minutes. Hence it is a broken event at the moment.
I like how you cleared your understanding that the linked thread confirms the event is broken while defending the statement that "Beltron event is not broke." Has the event been tested on Test server since the Test patch by the OP and confirmed to still be broken? Or is this thread based on the lack of fix in the Patch Notes and it's possibly fixed, just not noted?
We raid it weekly and I can confirm he is still casting the snare and when his dps debuff is supposed to go off it’s 50/50 if it will land on anyone. So yes it’s still broken.
The reason the event was changed is because people were pulling Beltron from his room and/or kiting him within the room. Snare was added and he is now leashed. Again, not a big deal. Pre and Post patch Beltron's 7 and 13 minutes respectively. well, apparently you can't paste pictures.
So you're saying the other thread is marked as a "confirmed" bug because it was an intended stealth change that never made any patch notes? And that's... what you actually believe?
They changed him a long while ago so you can’t pull him to zone, this snare is a oppsie that hasn’t been fixed.
Can confirm, we raided Beltron last night ( 9-19-22) and event is still not working correctly. Can we put Confirmed on the status instead of info needed?
The reason the debuff is not going out is because he is being interrupted. If everyone turns their attack off before the debuff goes out he will always cast it on someone. Autoattacks and combat abilities easily interrupt his cast and cause the debuff to not go out.

The cast of Avatar Snare interrupts the Touch of Shadow cast and it never lands (note there is no "interrupted" message in these cases). He casts Avatar of Snare every other cycle, so he's only able to cast Touch of Shadows half as often as normal.
How is it not broken? He is not supposed to be casting avatar snare AT ALL. They did a patch and made no mention of it and after the patch he started casting it out of the blue. It’s a confirmed bug by there own reports stop trying to say it’s not still broken. Players can’t inturup his casting because he can’t be hurt,debuffed, or harmed he is invulnerable until you get his dmg debuff.
