Feedback: New Servers announcement

I can see folks who never came back for a TLP being disappointed. Starting in classic sounds like a blast and just what we all wanted! Until you actually do it a few times and experience that long hang time where every zone is crowded and fighting for every mob with no spots open anywhere worth camping because EVERYONE is stuck in the exact same few spots....for a long long time.

I can't say I've ever had an experience where any planes were difficult... Either your raid makeups were bad or your experience was unfortunate in some other way...

I got what I asked for plus a bonus kunark start. FTE was a joke and I'm glad its dead. BST BER was a no from the devs to wish for it was folly.

We know how popular FTE was, It was a fricking disaster I left before kunark because it was so janky and non EQ. Thank goodness they listened.

Honestly, I'm sorry your disappointed. I see your point even if I don't agree. I know it sucks to be looking forward to a EQ TLP and feel disappointed.
I wish they would have at least started one of them at the Classic Start for people who wanted it.

On a server that is launching in Kunark, yes.

I think you are mistaken, I think the playerbase on Teek is going to far outweigh the playerbase on Tormax based on the sheer amount of loot that will be available.
Boxers / Botters will go to the server with a higher population because it is easier sales, it is going to be a Oakwynd 2.0 for AE groups to sell PLs as well.
Oakwynd had the highest PL sales I have ever seen on any TLP to date, 24/7 running and this will be the same deal.
Tormax should have started in Classic with its ruleset to make it plausible.

Random Loot + Free Trade is a dream for everyone and with the added factor of no FTE, everyone is going to swarm it.

Make Tormax a OOW/DON lock server if you're gonna do Mischief 2.0 with the Teek server, do a normal server that stops at DON...

I'm excited for a Kunark start, level 60 cap, epics, and more raid targets....

Title pretty much says it all, you will need two Teek servers or expect ques upwards to five plus hours.

You act like this isn't a 20 year old game clinging onto the people who played it then but some new playerbase that is dying to play said 20 year old game rather than anything else on steam or every other mmo out today.

Not sure about kunark start yet guess we will see but I like it.

Tormax is a turd better come up with something new before launch like a teek clone.

I keep seeing people talk about Rizlona and how it wasn’t as populated as Aradune. Rizlona had a popping population for a long time. We had tons of guilds clearing content and most didn’t post on a website. Despite the claims that we didn’t have one we did. No one posted unless they were recruiting. We didn’t have 72+ rosters to babysit so we had to recruit maybe once between classic and pop. Aradune hit medium several times before Rizlona dipped. The issue with boxing servers is that one person stopping means 3-6 people.

Dupe teek. Make it non-truebox and you’ll remove a ton of the people that want to box but can’t off teek. No one wants tormax rules, I see multiple threads and discords requesting no truebox. It’s an easy win here folks. Do the smart thing.

Rizlona was dipping into medium population 5 days after the server launched.

100 percent what Stylin said. There's so much drama about boxing and true box - just give people a boxing version of Teek alongside it. So few people are excited for a Phinney clone, even with Kunark launch - it will be extremely unpopular alongside a server with Mischief ruleset. People were lukewarm about Yelinak and lukewarm about Oakwynd. The vast, vast majority of people have been calling for another Mischief ruleset. Just give people two versions of it with different boxing options!!!

Indigo feedbacK - speed up relaxed truebox cadence - pls like Velious or Luclin if the goal is to mitigate server load on launch day with truebox.

By time it comes out boxing is pointless for those of us who only box to do quests and farm stuff it's not really something a lot of people do for exp.

Do something with Tormax - honestly make it better or you need a 3rd server to handle Teek overload.

Other then that - Kudos on Teek - Mischief was incredibly fun.

I was really hoping for at least the relaxed truebox of three on one PC for one of these at launch. As one of those meme'd dads who plays at weird hours on a laptop its hard to keep up.

Add my vote for making Tormax a Teek clone with at least 3 boxing allowed at launch!

Leave Tormax as-is and add the FV ruleset to it, not mischief ruleset. This would be a new TLP idea but would also set up a server that could "go long" all the way to live and would mimic the most popular live server which is Firiona Vie!
