(Feedback) EoK - Dungeons, high mob density, few safe camp spots

    EoK gear is significantly better than anything before it for most. Can easily get the basics in a month or so. Anyone who wants to learn raids will have much easier time staying alive on older content. I don't see how it wouldn't be beneficial to get pushed through it.

    Throw invis, plenty of time to afk even in bad places. Assuming the rest of your group is awake just in case.

    Droga is pretty much the only zone I feel could use some tuning.

    Mob Density is this biggest issue.
    Almost zero safe spots, too many see invis roamers. Killing named can often take you into the timing of repops. It's pretty frustrating zone all the way around, to the point where I can't find anyone in guild or otherwise who wants to go.

    I think Chardok is actually just about perfect.

    Aside from some of the annoying bugs, I really am enjoying this expansion. One of the greatest aspects is the fact it is a brilliant nod to original, classic EverQuest. The zones are challenging, the dungeon crawl gives that wonderful sensation of claustrophobia, the risk is high but the rewards are worth it, and whether you are in group gear or raid gear - a simple mistake could be your undoing as well the undoing for those around you. I don't really see any reason to change anything.

    Yeah I used to think Droga needed some tuning and maybe mob density is a bit much but I just wanted to be able to afk outside of the timed see invis pathers at my camp. Someone reminded me of Planar Overdose potions for FD so that works for me. I do need to afk at various times but its manageable with the FD potions.

    Ya. A great DPS group can make a lot of these problems vanish.. or just a berzerker. If you kill fast enough you can create little pockets of time where you can recover.

    This is the first zone in many many years that's actually challenging as it is.

    As some have noted, it is the closest we've had to the amazing dungeon-crawls of old that helped make this game what it is today; though way easier since most every class now has invis and Fade or clicky-Feign or what-not. And mercs that are free pocket-rezzers.

    Please try and look at it as that; and actual challenge and puzzle you need to solve. How can you move fast enough but safe enough to get through to your target.

    For example there ARE a couple safe spots, if you take the time to find them.
    And there are plenty of places to sit safely invisisble.
    And 1,000 more spots you can safely sit if you kill 1 roamer every 15+ minutes.


    I'd ask again; try to honestly enjoy a true challenge and not something to AFK 80% of the time to kill 1 mob occasionally.
