im an old fogey and dont have a lot of resources for eq info. i noticed in the test update they are referring to a fearspeaker achievement. checked all the usuals like allah's and eqresource etc... anyone have a URL or info they can share on this ? what exactly is it????
Ok I loaded up the test server in another directory (you just change which one you are logging into, live versus test.) Fearspeaker (50 pts) This achievement is gained upon completing all quests and missions in Rain of Fear. [] Champion of Rain of Fear [] Paragon of Rain of Fear Reward appears to be a 'mask' ornament and a title, "the Fearspeaker." adding images. '
it's just a purple mask kinda like the icon. If you go to the alaran city in shards landing you can see the purple face in some of the zone art there. this mask looks like that. it's pretty bad, the eyes don't line up with your player's eyes and it just looks akward to wear. on frogloks it's hilarious because it hangs off their face like they have a giant duck bill. the challenger achievement is getting a cooler evil eye helmet. looks like the red evil eye npc model with the bottom tentacles/arms cut off.
Unfortunate it appears that SoE has hard time of thinking on rewards, all the rewards for tasks like it has lately been items to promote their things. (This is for the type 21 aug, earlier been for a mount where you could buy an upgrade to a mount in markedsplace, other stuff for houses and such.) Could there not come rewards where you dont promote your stuff ?
