Switching from the default hotkeys for attack and spell casting did the trick.

My kids confirmed it works, then logged off.

Does this happen at non-peak use times of day?

This happens waaay more then it should, I have it happen to me mutliple times a day. One of the most frustrating things is it always happens during intense moments when you pull a named, or have adds and are trying to control and heal things quickly - then all of a sudden "you have been disconnected".

This is the correct solution, and can be set up for free in 5 minutes.

When I’m hitting alt+4 on both my boxes i get disconnected. I appreciate their attempts. It’s a hard thing to regulate.

Easier for you just to have everyone set up their hot keys differently imo

This is the solution I went with. Works - though I feel it's a solution to an issue that shouldn't be an issue.

They definitely upped the "sensitivity" or whatever for trueboxing. I 6 boxed all thru mischief and never once got trueboxed. But I've been trueboxed numerous times on Teek. They changed something.

Use a free VPN like Proton like that was suggested. Only need number of computer minus one. Works well at my house.

Wife and I just dumped Teek server and tossing it and Daybreak the big stiff middle finger, because of the True Box coding. We were both on 2 computers, trying to run 2 toons each, which according to DB definition of True Boxing should not be an issue. But it is. This is so stupid that even after we dropped one of her toons from the grp (it was too high level for the others), it still got disconnected when we applied the DPS. Then we tried to play with just one toon each, and still get disconnected, so we cannot play on the Teek server unless we just want to solo the game. We have been playing this game for over 2 decades without issue, so we are not exactly noobs at this, but screw this crap. I am not paying for any more apathy from this company regarding this game, and neither should you.

The blame for this falls entirely on the people addicted to cheating, and the losers botting & RMTing krono like it's a job.

Just like kernel-level anticheat in most other PC games, we all have to deal with the side effects otherwise these "people" would ruin the game.

Here we are 5 days (3 business days) later on the official forums openly discussing how to easily and freely defeat key broadcast detection with no reaction from DBG.

At some point, DBG should take a step back, realize the situation is what it is, that you're doing more harm than good, and throw in the towel.

DBG can continue to enforce no VMs and single char per physical box, which has been mostly successful, without the complete failure and pain of key broadcast detection. People who are actually broadcasting will defeat it with VPNs, broadcasting / commands instead of hot key presses, using mouse clicks, different keybinds, or probably a number of other methods readily available in broadcast software. And with the ability for more complex macros than legit players, to add insult to injury. DBG, you're only hurting legitimate players with key broadcast detection.
