Please elaborate. What improvements to performance are we going to see or notice? Reduced crashing due to what? what sort of crashes should we no longer expect? very long down time and extensive updates i would think you could give a bit more details as to what is going on. I am sure you guys can take a moment to give some further details about these changes, as i would think they are all well documented.
When I suggested the duplicate name sweeps they were doing on each server was possibly due to work for future server mergers they were very quick to explain why they were doing the name changes. Let's see if they jump on this with the same speed and give out more details.
This maintenance is being done across all servers and has been rolled out over the last few months. It's to address an infrastructure issue which can cause instability and occasional server crashing. The goal is to improve overall game performance. That's about as specific as I can provide.
