pretty sure 1 NPC is missing somewhere, don't recall which. there was a post here somewhere pretty recently about it. there have been NPCs missing for JC and other TS forever so, we'll see...edit: found it

Any news about this? Currently, the only reason Exalted cultural augments aren't craftable is because one set of merchants (called "a cultural discoveries historian"), from which we have to buy inscribable books ("Tinkering Exalted Cultural Symbols", ""Tailoring Exalted Cultural Symbols and "Smithing Exalted Cultural Symbols") is nowhere to be found on Fippy server at least.

They still haven't put in the missing jewelry trophy mats from 4 months ago. I'm not holding my breath for these kinds of fixes at this point.

Exalted symbols aren't supposed to be out until SoF anyways.

Well, it looks like the jewelcrafting that was supposed to be live in POR is going live according to the patch notes.

Looks like they added the components but the recipes are marked as out of era... Won't combine =/

Because it is out of era, just check lucy....

The issue is that they revamped the tradeskills multiple times within a fairly short period of time. The original tradeskills (such as they were) were removed when PoR released, the PoR recipes are missing parts because they were replaced by the later tradeskill changes. So we live in never-ever land until we get the "correct" items and recipes to match up.

There is 0 data in lucy until 2007-11-15 08:38 ... Secrets of Faydwer (November 2007) <--- launch date..... but keep making an argument for out of era items!

Regardless of whether the current recipes are out of era or not, the tradeskill trophies were released in PoR. Those were a major part of that expansion. Every tradeskill trophy is completable except for the top few jewelcraft trophies. This is messed up, especially since they don't have it fixed yet an expansion and a half later. And especially since the lower level jewelcraft trophies are completable, so someone with 0 skill can get a trophy and evolve it to cap, while someone who previously worked on jewelcraft is screwed and has no way to get the same trophy.

If they need to put in the original recipes again and alter the quest so we can finish it, so be it, but it needs to get done one way another. Seems the easiest way to fix it would be to just activate the ~4 recipes that are needed currently, which will not be in any way overpowered for anything else.

hmm, apparently the thread title has no relation to the content of the posts within. Exalted symbols are clearly out of era. If you wanna about jewlcraft maybe start a new post?

Threads do sometimes change subjects you know. It's been known to happen here.
