That has to be it, I just turned on my target ring to check that. I have never used or liked it so it has always been off, i would have never guessed it.
Always stick with your gut, yes. Poor Grove was dancing all around it... but now I know why you didn't get it.
Alas, its how it goes so often I guess. My gut had already done enough by immediately deciding to go for UI and targeting!
