Okay, couple things... First off, I wasn't summoned here because it's the "summer phallus game". I promised myself I wouldn't post here until I got the list back up to date, which I only just now finished and uploaded. Secondly, after going through the last 20+ games, I noticed Verily didn't win very much. This is both good and bad for me. Good because he was winning too much. Bad because I used his name in the "winner" slot for the template that I was cutting and pasting for all the games thinking he probably won a ton, but then I ended up having to type everybody else's name over and over (I noticed Fred won an obscene amount of games - about 1 out of 3). Third, Verily started referencing phalli a disturbing amount of times in my absence. I think he scared everyone away. Forth, is the phallus connection for the answer to this game a visual/physical resemblance?

No... don't over think what type of consumable item it is! A type of item that spawns on the ground, vendors won't buy, and it's not food.
Component: a part or element of a larger whole, especially a part of a machine or vehicle. Like for tradeskills or to make something, no. It is one part of a larger collection, so I would say yes.
