Oh fudge. I was ready to claim the item as Dark One's Claw, until I realized that was not hands slot but primary/secondary.

    Ding ding ding!

    Grobb Oven Mittens

MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM QUEST ITEM
    Slot: HANDS
    AC: 4
    SV FIRE: +5
    WT: 3.0 Size: SMALL
Class: ALL except NEC WIZ MAG ENC
Race: BAR ELF TRL OGR IKS VAH

The item is received by turning in 3 Froglok meat and 10 gold to Carver Cagrek in Grobb.

The item is also used in the quest "Urako's Big Mistake".

I first remember the item for being only wearable by large races, but it was usable by Druids, Paladins, Bards, etc... who obv weren't classes that large races could select. It has since been corrected.

This was fun! Thank you all who participated.

Start up the next game Eggolas!

First, thank you again, that quizz was very fun, I loved it !
Just to clarify, as this question might be asked again and can be a hint for some items/quests/NPCs, it points towards zones which have been merged over the years in Everquest but stayed the same in p1999, first ones which come to my mind are East and West Commonlands which have been merged into Commonlands but still exist as separate zones in p1999.
