    1. What exactly does the unmodified button do on equipment?

    2. Also, what does "attunable" mean on that same equipment?

    Finally,

    3. Some of my gear has gold numbers next certain stats. It shows, for example, STR 70+3. Where did that +3 come from?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Most gear has Rec (recommended) and/or Req (required) level on it. If there is a Req, your character must be at least that level to equip the gear. If there is a Rec level, your toon will not receive the full statistics from the armor until you reach that level. If you are below the Rec level but above the Req level, you will get closer to the full stats as you gain levels. The button next to "unmodified" will toggle between unmodified and modified. Unmodified shows the full statistics of the item, and modified shows what you would get at your current level if you were able to equip it. I believe charms can also show their full statistics when the button has been toggled to unmodified. But charms have other (and varying) requirements for increasing in power. You won't be able to see what you will actually gain from a particular charm unless you equip it and then open the item window.

    2. Rather than make all armor "no drop" (untradeable), many of the early tiers of an expansion drop gear that has the attunable flag. That means it is tradeable until someone equips it. There is a confirmation screen when you first equip an attunable item asking if you really want to attune it to your character. Once the item has been equipped, it will still have the "attunable" flag, but it will also gain the "no drop" flag. There is an item on the loyalty vender that will un-attune an item so that it can be traded again (until equipped again). But I've never used the un-attuner.

    3. Those are heroic statistics. STR 70 means the armor will add as much as 70 to your strength as long as it doesn't put you over your cap. The +3 means it will increase your STR cap by 3 and give you 3 STR. Heroic stats also have other properties, but I don't have a link to what they do. People seem to either focus on heroic DEX or heroic AGI.

    1. Unmodified show the stats you are receiving, generally helpful with variable strength charms or augments that will show 100% stats in modified form and actual stats in unmodified. Can also toggle visible gear to see stats with/without powersources, or stats received from an item you don't meet the recommended level for.

    2. Attunable means the item becomes no trade on equiping. can be "unattuned" and traded Urthron's Ultimate Unattuner.

    3. Heroic stats were introduced in the Secrets of Faydwer expansion, they raise the given stat cap by the amount listed as well as adding that amount. Each stat can provide additional benefits such as mana regen per 25 points of Heroic Intel or Wisdom based on class, 1 bonus melee damage per 10 Heroic strength, 1 hit point regen per 20 Heroic Stamina, 1 endurance regen per 200 combine Physical Heroic stats (Str, Sta, Agi, Dex)
