EQ will not launch

    when trying to launch game a black window shows and disappeared. checked log file. logs\dbg.txt

    [Sun Oct 11 12:44:26 2020]00028:CRender::InitDevice: Failed to create device with error 8876086C.

    this error shows up two more times then:
    [Sun Oct 11 12:44:26 2020]00022:CRender::InitDevice: CreateDevice failed.
    few more lines and errors show up again.
    last line in dbg.txt
    [Sun Oct 11 12:44:27 2020]00034:FAILED: Unable to initialize texture(s), closing game...

    anyone have some ideas? (first time playing on PC)

    Found the problem from another posting.
    eqclient.ini changed WindowMode=TRUE
