I connected to EQ2 fine and it loaded the game. The graphics ran fine, However I installed new memory on my computer a hour ago. The EQ world has a hard time loading and becomes unresponsive and my characters are grey out and the game locks up at the character select screen. Any ideas?
You might try running the game configuration from the Patcher screen because of the new memory. I'm not certain, but this may help make changes to your eqclient.ini due to the new hardware. Edit: From the patcher you can click on the gear wheels (advanced tools) near the bottom left, then just click on game configuration.
The motherboard might not support the memory you installed. Also make sure each memory stick is exactly the same product number. You can't mix and match.
