Fixed Internally EQ Anniversary Tipsy Gnome Race not enabled

The script for the gnome race is not working or not enabled on the Mischief server.

I had this issue as well on the Bristlebane server. Fresh level one gnome created today, so the character isn't the issue.

I got the same thing later yesterday, no luck today either.

It's been a week, any updates to this not being enabled / working on servers?

I think it was great fun the first time I did it. Then I had to keep doing it to get the set of armor. It was very reminiscent of the old days and the races we used to have.

Thank goodness there are so many quests in the game that one has a choice whether to participate or not. Hopefully this one will get fixed soon so others can enjoy the special t shirt and/or the other armor.

Getting spammed by the awful messages from this event isn't a choice.

We got rid of the Broadcasts, but did not disable the quest. I confirmed it is not allowing participation, but I don't know yet where the disconnect is.

And we thank you for that.

Prathun wrote a note about a version numbering bug with this event in 2020. Not sure if it was ever fixed.

I remember it being fixed. Ngreth said they changed soemthing, so this shouldnt be related.

It's disappointing that it seems they are just going to sunset this quest. Especially after all the time and effort that went into creating it in the first place.
