I tried to let EQ set my hot bar for my Heroic Enchanter but I didn't get any. Anyone willing to post a very basic Enchanter Hot Bar set up? Most I can handle is two bars but realistically a single bar for now. I've never played an Enchanter past level 9 before.
I will post my most used chanter bars once home...but you may wind up having to scroll through the 1-10 on the bars, once higher. I've got something like 9 total now on my chanter (main, situational, burns, aggro drops/add controls, boxing keys, clickies, etc). Enchanters get a LOT of buttons. Will try to distill down sometime soon for you.
First thing - There are a million and one ways to play a chanter. I used to raid mine in the PoP days as a main....now I mainly use her as a box. That being said, this is just my bar setup (currently to box, but does well when not having to click a lot.) Now that I have an SK tank toon, not a whole lot of need for a great deal of CC. Not to say it isn't great fun when CC is required. These are also 105, but could be used for lower level versions of most of the spells. No, this isn't the most optimized chanter setup, but it is functional for me, and may give you ideas for your own setup. Bar 1 -(Applicable /pauses as required) A - Nukes (Mindcleave, Mindsunder, Chromarift, Mindecleave, Mindsunder) S - DoTs (Mind Storm, Drown) D - Assist, Debuff key (Assist MT, Bite of Tash AA, Dreary Deeds, Eradicate Magic, /pet attack) 1 - Highest Nuke 2 - Second Highest Nuke 3 - Banestrike 4 - DoT1 5 - DoT2 6 - AE Target Mez (Anodyne) 7 - Gather Mana (Not usually needed, but lazy and haven't replaced it) Q - Follow MT Unkeyed - Swap out for whatever as needed Burn Bar - (Single Clicks, as needed. Probably won't be much use till 100s?) Third Spire Focus of Arcanum Silent Casting Chromatic Haze IoG Calculated Insanity Phantasmal Opponent Improved Twincast Also have an "Oh crap!" bar, clicky bar, transport bar/buff bar, etc. Anyway, take it for what you will.
