Subtitled: The "new EQ" market on Mangler has found me, and I don't get it So I am used to levelling toons from approx. 5-18 in Blackburrow. At some point I can always solo gnoll elites and commanders, which randomly drop Rusty Spiked Shoulderpads, among other things. The pads vendor for 1.5pp each, a little bit of scratch never hurts, right? Well now people are approaching me in the zone and asking if I have any of the spiked pads, and are buying them off me for 100pp each. I traded one for a Bladed Tholian Claws (5/19), a nice weapon for my 20 War, and for which I would have expected to pay around 200pp. That's as much plat as my warrior has made in the game so far. I get that people want these spiked pads to give to charmed pets, but the sudden inflation of something so basic, well it stumps me.
At a certain point you reach a level of wealth where it's not worth trying to manually sell something worth ~100p.
