This spell gem doesn't show a cooldown timer like every other spell in the game. Why is that? When I cast it at the wrong time, I have to manually /stopcast because the game doesn't provide correct information.
Not a bug, the buff that goes in your window (looks like the bst regen) is the cooldown timer. This allows for recast upon death.
The nurturing growth buff probably should mention how it acts as the recast timer by making the spell take 6 minutes to cast. "While you have this buff, the Nurturing Growth spell will have its cast time greatly increased, to 6 minutes" Having the recast be part of the blocker buff is FAR better than the spell having a long recast. it means we don't have to give up a spell slot for our 'harvest'.
Not a bug and working as intended. This is one of the best druid spells in years. It took a great deal of lobbying and it is a very clever solution that doesn't cost a permanent spell slot. It is quick casting and remedies the mana problem upon death. Indeed, the (de)buff does not persist through death either, which is also a great positive.
