After unlocking rank 6 and seeing it's basically the same as rk5, is there a reason why the main component of the spell doesn't change between the last 2 ranks? There's an increase between every rank except between 5 and 6. The heal is nice, but the max hp boost is why I use that spell. That makes a 0.7% upgrade from UL for 2k mana per cast.

Yes, so that clerics with either raid rank can work side by side without their buffs being blocked

Doubt that's the case. Clerics within the same guild who gets rk5 will get rk6 around the same time. There should not be anyone using rk5 when rk6 is possible, especially with the amount of flags on the T3 chest.
