Did I miss the "Something Big" surprise from Fippy Fest?

The Ever Quest Show released a video a few days ago saying to expect a big surprise from Fippy Fest. You can see him talk about it here:

He had quotes from the devs eluding to it during Pax and during an interview from a month ago. But I didn't hear anything big being announced.

Did I miss it? Or were they just not ready to reveal it yet perhaps?

That can't be the big surprise, can it? I mean. Who cares? From Fading's video, I expected something that the players would be super excited for.

The players are super excited for it. Maybe not you, but the players. You must be the other guy.

Meh. Make that two players.

I'll be honest from my point of view, the new artwork models of creatures have been very hit or miss over the last several expansions. Maybe the extra set of wings will mean something tangible when we get there. But somehow I doubt it.

(Also the track record with oversized anything in game is not the greatest)

Edit - To expand a little ... the models are the models over the years. Some I like, some I hate ... most are meh. It's the story, the quests, the fights I encounter ... that's why I play the game. 25 years in, a npc model is never going to wow me. But a challenging fight that uses all (or my group's or my raid's) capabilities will. Can't tell that from a picture at this point.

That's my take too. Big models are already too big to take in since the camera distance is so close to your character. I'd be more wowed if they added the ability to pull the camera back a bit further.

This just doesn't seem like the kind of announcement that they were eluding to. They made it seem like it was some big secret thing, like a new class or race. Not just one model for a mob.

Oh well, I'll get over my disappointment.

how do i do the first quest in the being, Is there a wep page that tells how to do all the quest. like there is for everquest2

does anyone have a screenshot of the big dragon? my hype for the expansion is directly proportional to how big the dragon is

I am also not excited about the big dragon. It's only a texture set that got scaled bigger, and dragons became a bit boring.

It was your own interpretation and illusion that it would be something like a new class or race. Adam made a joke and he didn't lied. All he was saying is that something big will be there.

Ok, you nearly got me. But something big should have eight wings and not just four.

You can use the Clip button to Clip just that bit if you want then it should give you a shareable Clip link as long as they keep the vod up I think
