Except for the part about fairly high pricing, I agree with the above. I think you should add the right to buy specialized mercs and such as well. After all, I would really like to get some of the mercs I missed out on because I wasn't in some betas. Simply add a symbol to the name of the merc or other item that indicates it was market purchased, for instance a "$"? That way the people with the original item still has bragging rights and the rest of us can settle for the "aftermarket" version.
