Please just reopen this. Closing the instance is punishing guilds who play legitimately, while the guild(s) who exploited already go their VT key pieces and probably don't even mind it being closed.

Open the instance back up, we would like to play the game in its entirety. Honestly don't care what OGC and AoS do anymore, thats DBGs problem not the entire servers. Let us play the game!

This is exactly the reason that taking the AOC down is the correct response. The non-batphone/non-elitist guilds don't mind waiting a week to get a fixed instance with a proper raiding experience. Only the elitist "I must be in Vex Thal RIGHT NOW" people are throwing a fit about this.

Like seriously this better be fixed this weekend , Ssra is the center of Shadow of Luclin expansion , its like taking down Kael completely you can't just do that ...

Or like taking Plane of Hate AOC out for 7 weeks!... oh wait...

If plane of hate were an unavoidable part of keying for the largest raid zone in classic, that would have been this big of a deal, too. I guess the analogy would be if you needed a drop off Innoruk to zone into Plane of Sky.

You are thinking about this wrong. What value do we gain by them fixing this bug? Nothing. We weren't going to use the exploit, so it literally DOESNT MATTER one bit. All it ends up doing is preventing us from getting to access the content pointlessly.

This exploit has probably literally been in the game for 12 years. And in all that time it never hurt any of the people who killed Emperor without using it.

You don't have to be a batphone guild to care about missing out on the largest and most memorable raid zone of Luclin. Most people are playing to relive their nostolgia, and its kind of hard to do so if you don't actually get to...you know...relive it.

Wouldn't not being able to get into VT within the first month of the expansion allow the majority of people to relive their nostalgia perfectly??

the only "exploit" they seem to care about is the double spawning raid mobs. it wasnt until a screenshot of them was posted that the AoC was removed. and if you are saying you wouldnt have killed the double spawned mobs, i flatly wont believe you.

everything else has been conjecture, the most common one seems to be some nonsense about corpse dragging unkeyed people into emperors room. which wasnt done.

its kind of silly the AoC has been removed, especially since many issues with the instances were brought up before luclin launched, and nothing was done. including raid mobs double spawning for no discernible reason

I even went through the proper channels and submitted it as a bug. But this whole time they'be been more concerned with illusions and mounts.

How about making 2 instances of ssra, (1) everything minus emp., (2) emp [once it is fixed].

Eliminating a good number of loot mobs to fix one mob atm. If the fix to emp will take awhile, perhaps it's less time to split the zone into 2 instances to give raiders raid targets, while taking the time fix emp properly.

we had guild members report the issue on test as well, weeks before luclin launched. they were told it wasnt a reproduce-able effect .

as soon as screenshots pop up, the aoc was removed. could be a coincidence, who knows.

What you're saying here is not true at all. You are saying you don't get to do the zone at all and it's ruining your ability to relive the expansion. The reality is you probably have to wait like... a week or so to do it. You're saying "I want it right now and if I can't have it the whole expansion is ruined". Grow up?

What date did you and Silinius pick to start rotating ssra/VT?

DHS has no intentions of rotating SSRA/VT. We will be too busy doing Velious content we can not get too now due to several issues arising now days.

Personally, I would just like a status report on what is going on, and if they have even any inklings of an ETA

I'm confused then. This thread is about people wanting to raid ssra, what is the incentive to reroll on lockjaw?

These people are panicked over waiting a few days for the instance to get fixed, they're not going to wait until POP opens in june to raid ssra
