I'm not affected, but +1 anyway.

As an Oakwynd player, I approve this idea. My small casual guild had to merge with a larger "more" hardcore guild. Been great, honestly, and everybody we've met has been pretty awesome. But new faces I'm sure would still be welcome.

But I thought Agnarr was a veritable utopia and the best server evarrr...

Agnarr came out in 2017, people around here can't wait a few hours for an epic spawn ffs.

    Best user base.

There are still specific reasons why the server will never be for everyone, by design. MOTM was left in so it provides challenge to players with maxed characters. If you like soloing or don't want to join a guild, it makes for a limited experience. I mean on Live you can pick up a merc and solo the first few expansions worth of bosses after a few days play. You can do that never on Agnarr.

The experience rate is pretty slow too. It makes for an odd situation. I mean you are a person looking for comradery, fine but you won't be able to group until you hit 43 which takes a bit. FWIW, I've gone raiding on other shards with level 45 characters and you can pretty much die the first AOE from a raid target. Not a huge amount of fun. If you are a solo player, the never thing comes into effect again.

There are a lot of people there that run multiple accounts. I think there is less grief about being called a Kronolord or ruining the game because of multiple accounts then there is on Rizlona! The having to use multiple computers to box is a PIA that I wish wasn't there, but that's just me.

The bulk of the user base, outside of the forums, just doesn't like slow experience, forced grouping when there isn't anyone to group with, or no trade I think. No big thing, I'm happy they like Teek and the success it has had. I'll continue sneaking onto Agnarr and staying away from Teek for the current state of TLP.
