That's the natural consequence of advertising your real life name in every post, the 1% of 1% of people who will attempt to contact you in real life. Same as the consequence of advertising your in game name in every post, the 1% of people who will attempt to contact you in virtual life. One day when you're older and wiser you will realize that providing information that leads to other means of contacting you is only a good idea to provide if you wish to be contacted by additional methods. QA doesn't necessarily have anything to do with ToV going live. Granted in this situation it possibly could. I don't know how their QA works in this particular regard. My experience working in QA, I would have had nothing to do with ToV popping up.

Date based things are not so "foolproof" testable... since... well those dates don't happen until the future! We have ways to make a "fake date" test. But being that it is a fake date and not a real date... it is not foolproof. If you can invent a time machine... we can make more foolproof tests on date based things. Of course we shouldn't have made the mistakes we did... but... HUMANS! You get humans for developers.
Also if you invent a time machine please loan it to me for 45 minutes. I need to give myself some career advice.
