There is a bug or two in the quest Beyond the Barrier (the access quest for Crystallos). Bug #1 - Missing Golems Setup: A guild raid of 16 characters, all had the prep quest, container, and ready to spawn the golems. We all charged into the pool (as this is what someone in the group had done in the past). We spawned one golem. We could not spawn another until one character went back to hail Tonas again. We could not spawn it a third time until one character deleted the quest and went thru the entire process again. All 16 characters got gems and credit for the first of four pool tasks (Tonas version). The next pool, we left two characters out. 14 characters charged and killed a golem. Then the 15th character jumped in the pool to spawn a golem. And then the 16th characters for the 3rd golem. All 16 got credit. Great. Bug #2 - Infinite Golems Setup: A guild raid of 9 characters, all had the prep quest, container, and ready to spawn the golems. We left the 9th character out and charged the golem with 8. We killed the first golem and it immediately respawned. It died and respawned. Again. Again. After the 4th or 5th golem, we just had the 9th character jump into the pool for task update. After the 6th or 7th golem (they were starting to hurt at that point), we bugged out. This happened repeatedly on 3 or 4 more pools. But, all 9 were looting the gems needed. However, it was realized later that 3 of the 9 characters were NOT getting kill credit for the golems, despite having killed 6+ of the same golem at times. This is likely the reason for the infinite golems, but that is a hazardous guess of the issue. There seems to be some sort of flagging issue with those quests.
