While doing the Shadow Knight portion of An Epic Request task in North Ro, after locating the disturbance with the beggar and shopkeeper and settling the dispute, it ports you into an instance of The Northern Desert of Ro and turns you into a level 35 Warrior monster shroud representing Lhranc. At this point EQ crashes to desktop every single time for me. Luckily after I restart EQ, the mission continues. I am having to repeat this mission a number of times until I learn how to get a perfect score to earn the Epic Retelling achievement. So I would really appreciate it if it would stop crashing at that spot in the task. 110 Gnome Shadow Knight EQ running in windowed mode Default UI

What server are you playing on and what is the SKs name? (Can PM me this if you want). What timezone are those logs in?
I am running this task again after today's patch, and for the first time I didn't crash. Could this patch note have fixed it? - Addressed an issue where characters and objects were not properly handling fog and would not match the environment in older zones.
It wasn't the fog after all. Sorry, I spoke too soon. I wish the Edit function worked on this forum. I think it's caused by being on a mount (any mount). If I was mounted when entering that instance, I crash. If I wasn't mounted, I don't crash. Verified this a couple times each.
Same type of crash also happens during step 6 of the same mission (Innoruuk's Curse sub-task during An Epic Request task for Shadow Knights) -- if you are on your mount as you are zoning from Plane of Hate to North Freeport and being transformed into a monster shroud, EQ crashes and you must restart the game.
