What is the difference in cost for that journeyman merc you can get after quest in Ferroit vs the one you get in Gloomingdeep?
From level 85 - 96 the J5 around cost 68plat ? to buy and upkeep is costing me 98 or 99 plat every 15 minutes vs no cost to buy and no cost to run for the first 10 levels in gloomingdeep.
The cost to hire and employ a mercenary is a function of your level and the mercenary tier, no matter the zone you hire your mercenary. Currently, the employment fee for a level 105 J5 merc is 160'ish(?) platinum per 15 minutes, so that will be your high end cost. At level 100, it's closer to 100 platinum. The cost to hire is not too much, a lot cheaper than when mercenaries were first rolled out.
